Homemade Clean Granola Bars

Packed full of everything good and clean!! Absolutely DELICIOUS!!!

This would make great granola as well! The BEST homemade granola bars I've made!

RECIPE:

2 1/2 cups Rolled Oats

1 cup Slivered Almonds

1/2 cup Ground Flax

1/2 cup Honey

1/4 cup Monk Fruit (or other sweetener)

4 tablespoons Unsweetened Applesauce

1 cup Dried Cherries or Cranberries (no added sugar)

1/2 cup Unsweetened Coconut Flakes

1 teaspoon Cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon Salt


Preheat oven to 325. Combine oats, almonds and flax. Mix together. Add to baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, stirring throughout baking.


In a microwave bowl, combine honey, stevia & applesauce. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir and microwave an additional 30 seconds. Mixture may boil.


In a large bowl, combine cherries or cranberries, shredded coconut, cinnamon and salt. Mix in the oat mixture once toasted. Add the honey mixture and stir until thoroughly combined. Make sure all the dry ingredients are wet. Spread out the mixture on a baking sheet. Cover and put in the fridge for 2 hours.
