Biscuits & Gravy Casserole

The perfect Breakfast for my biscuit & gravy lovers! Delish!!

Eggs, sausage gravy, biscuits all baked together for the perfect breakfast!!

RECIPE:


Sausage Gravy: 1 package Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage Crumbles

2 tablespoons all purpose flour

2 1/2 cups whole milk

1 tablespoon light butter


Casserole: 7.5 oz can of biscuits

6 eggs

1/2 cup low-fat milk

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1/4 teaspoon of paprika, oregano & garlic powder

1 cup light shredded cheese

  • Add flour, butter, and whole milk to a saucepan and cook on medium-low, stirring often, for several minutes until thickened. Add sausage crumbles.

  • Cut biscuit dough into pieces and scatter half of the biscuit dough along the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan.

  • Mix eggs, milk and spices and pour mixture over the biscuits. Spoon sausage gravy on top, then sprinkle with cheese. Add remaining biscuit dough pieces on top.

  • Bake at 350 degrees F for 35-45 minutes or until eggs have set and biscuits are golden.
