Creamy and cheese galore! A TR staple and you can make it healthier (& cheaper) at home!

RECIPE:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • Fresh garlic

  • 1/2 cup light shredded jack cheese

  • 1/4 cup whole milk

  • 1 tbs light butter

  • 1/4 cup low-sodium chicken broth

  • Paprika

  • Salt and pepper

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sear the seasoned chicken breasts until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes per side.

  3. Add minced garlic and paprika to the skillet, stirring for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  4. Pour in milk and chicken broth, simmering gently while scraping up any brown bits from the skillet.

  5. Top each chicken breast with shredded jack cheese and transfer to the oven. Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.

  6. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving to enhance flavor.
