Cheddar Breakfast Biscuits

Perfect way to start the day!! Portable and pair with some eggs and fruit! Yum!!

RECIPE:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup light shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • ½ cup low-fat milk

  • 2 large eggs

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • 3 tbsp melted light butter


  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper until combined.

  3. Add the melted butter and milk to the dry ingredients; stir gently until just mixed.

  4. Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.

  5. Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet.

  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned.
