Apple Cherry Dump Cake

Simple dessert that gives allll the Fall vibes!! Dump it in and bake! EASY EASY!!

RECIPE:

2 (21-ounce) cans apple and/or pie filling - no sugar added

1/2 (15.25-ounce) box spice cake mix

7 tablespoons butter, cold - light


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Pour the two cans of apple pie filling into the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish or pan, and spread it out evenly.

  3. Sprinkle all of the box cake mix on top of the apple pie filling, covering the apples evenly.

  4. Slice the butter into 16-20 thin slices (or pats), and place them in a single layer over the cake mix.

  5. Bake the cake for 1 hour or until the pie filling starts to bubble around the edges and the cake is golden brown on top.

  6. Let the cake rest for 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm with ice cream, if desired.
