Slow Cooker Jambalaya

New Orleans vibes allll day!! The perfect Jambalaya and SO easy to make!

What is easier then a slow cooker meal? One that is DELICIOUS! Low point and calorie!

1 Onion- diced

2 stalks Celery- diced

1 Green Bell Pepper- diced

3 cloves Garlic

4 Sausages (2-3sp each)- cut into coins

28 oz can Diced Tomatoes

1 tablespoon Oregano

1-2 tablespoons DAKS Original Red- to order:

1 pound large Shrimp- thawed

1 cup Rice (uncooked)

1/2 teaspoon Salt

1/2 teaspoon Pepper

Parsley for garnish

Add all ingredients and 2 cups of water to your slow cooker. Cook on low for 4-6 hours stirring and checking the water. Add additional water if needed.

8 Servings:

4sp (blue & purple)

5sp (green)

1sp (purple- with zero point rice)
