Million Dollar Spaghetti

This hearty baked spaghetti is loaded with flavor and absolutely delicious!!

RECIPE:

  • 1 package Fiber Gourmet pasta (any shape) to order: https://www.netrition.com/cgi/goto.cgi?aid=4549

  • 1 lb 96% extra lean ground beef

  • 1 yellow onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed

  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce, 0 point

  • 1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese

  • ¼ cup light sour cream

  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, divided

  • 1/8 cup grated parmesan cheese

  1. Cook the noodles according to package directions.

  2. In a large skillet, brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain grease and add the jar of marinara sauce to the cooked meat. Set aside.

  3. In a bowl, combine cottage cheese with the sour cream, and half of mozzarella cheese. Set aside.

  4. Add half the meat sauce.

  5. Top with ALL of the cheese mixture.

  6. Follow up with the remaining half of the pasta.

  7. Add all the meat sauce to the top of the million dollar casserole.

  8. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top, with the grated parmesan.

  9. Bake casserole UNCOVERED in a 350 degree oven for 30-35 minutes.
