Instant Pot Spanish Rice w/Beef

I can't tell you how YUMMY this recipe is!! Full of flavor, protein and Spanish flair!

Top with avocado, cheese, salsa, sour cream- even fresh cilantro! Absolute MUST MAKE!!

RECIPE:

  • 1 pound 96% ground beef

  • 1 green bell pepper diced

  • 1 onion diced

  • 1 8 ounce can tomato sauce

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder

  • 1 cup long grain white rice

  • 1 ½ cup water


  • Hit the saute button on the Instant Pot.

  • Add the ground beef and cook until brown, chopping into small pieces.

  • When the beef is done cooking, add all other ingredients to the pot. Stir to combine. Turn of the saute function.

  • Place lid on Instant Pot and turn the valve to sealing. Set pressure cooker to manual for 10 minutes.

  • Natural release for 5 minutes before using quick release.

  • Fluff rice with a fork and serve. You may want to add shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, etc. when serving.
