Copycat Starbucks Apple Crisp Macchiato (2 recipes!)

Do you love the seasonal Apple Crisp Macchiato from Starbucks? Check out these TWO lower point, lower calories but equally as delicious recipes!!

RECIPE #1:


FOR THE APPLE CRISP SYRUP

  • 1/4 cup concentrated apple juice, thawed

  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice

  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice

FOR THE APPLE CRISP MACCHIATO

  • 1/2 cup low-fat milk

  • 2 shots espresso or any coffee

  • 2 tablespoons apple crisp syrup (recipe above)

  1. Apple Crisp Syrup: Dissolve the sugar into the concentrated apple juice in a small saucepan set over medium-high heat. Lower the heat to medium and stir in the remaining ingredients. Simmer for 15 minutes on low heat, then remove and set aside.

  2. Assembling Macchiato: Pour 2 tablespoons of the apple crisp syrup. Add milk and coffee. Stir and enjoy!!


RECIPE #2:

  • 1/2 teaspoon Brown Sugar substitute

  • 1/4-1/2 cup low-fat milk

  • 1 teaspoon sugar free vanilla syrup

  • 1 tablespoon apple juice concentrate

  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

  • Coffee of choice

Combine all ingredients, stir and enjoy!!
