Butterscotch Rice Krispie Treats

Easy to make and put a super fun spin on the original Rice Krispie treats with pudding!

Ooey and gooey and truly delicious! WW friendly and low calorie so enjoy!

RECIPE:

  • 3 tbs light butter

  • 10 oz bag mini marshmallows

  • 1/4 cup instant pudding mix (any flavor)

  • 4 cups Rice Krispies

  • 120 melted Lily's chocolate chips (if desired)

  1. In a large pot melt the butter over medium heat.

  2. Once the butter is melted stir in the marshmallows until they have dissolved.

  3. When the marshmallow mixture is smooth add in the pudding mix, mixing it until it is incorporated.

  4. Add in the Rice Krispies and fold them in until they are completely coated in the marshmallow mixture.

  5. Pour the Rice Krispies into a 8x8 baking pan sprayed with cooking spray.

  6. Press the Rice Krispies down into the pan with greased hands.

  7. Melt chocolate chips in the microwave or over a double boiler.

  8. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the Rice Krispie treats.

  9. Let the chocolate harden before cutting them into bars.
