Slow Cooker Chicken Carnitas

SO easy and perfect for burrito bowls, tacos, salads and more!

A very versatile recipe that's WW friendly and full of protein!

RECIPE:

1 1/2 pounds chicken breast- raw

1 large Onion- sliced into rings

3/4 cup Chicken Broth

Juice of 2 Limes (about 1/4 cup)

Juice of one Orange (about 1/4 cup)

1 teaspoon Cumin

1/2 teaspoon Oregano

2 teaspoons Garlic Powder

1 teaspoon Salt


Place chicken breast in a slow cooker followed by the rest of the ingredients. Cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.


When chicken is cooked through, shred and enjoy!! XO
