Homemade Orange Sweet Rolls

Fresh orange flavor with the perfect cream cheese frosting!! A Must make!!

Easy to make with two ingredient dough and the PERFECT Breakfast side!

1 1/2 cups Self Rising Flour

Non-fat Greek Yogurt- until dough in formed

Orange Filling:

  • 3Tablespoons light Butter (softened)

  • 1/3 cup Sugar Substitute- I used Lakanto (to order:

  • Orange Zest (from 2 oranges)

Orange Cream Cheese Frosting:

  • 1/2 cup light Butter- softened

  • 6-ounces 1/3 less fat Cream Cheese (softened)

  • 1-2 cups Powdered Sugar Substitute- I used Lakanto

  • 1/2 cup Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice

  • Orange Zest

  1. Combine flour and yogurt until dough is formed.

  2. Tightly roll up dough into a "tube"

Orange Filling:

  1. Once you have your "tube" of dough, Spread softened butter all over the dough. Sprinkle with the sugar. Cover with orange zest.

  2. Tightly roll up dough and slice into rolls.

  3. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until cooked through.

Orange Cream Cheese Frosting:

  1. Cream together butter and cream cheese for 4 minutes. Stir in powdered sugar, orange juice, and orange zest. Add more powdered sugar, if needed. Spread over slightly cooled orange sweet rolls.
