Hamburgers with Cabernet & Sautéed Onions

The PERFECT hamburger for wine lovers!! The flavor of these burgers is 10/10!!

Who doesn't LOVE a good burger?? This one is a WINNER!!!!

  • 4 medium onions, chopped

  • ¼ cup light butter

  • 2 pounds 96% extra lean ground beef

  • 1 cup cabernet sauvignon

  • 2 teaspoons celery salt

  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard

  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme

  • 8 hamburger buns (points not included)

  • In a large skillet, sauté onions in butter until just browned (about 12 minutes).

  • In a large bowl, mix the onions in with all of the other ingredients. Form 8 hamburger patties.

  • Grill on hot barbecue until desired doneness. Serve on buns with desired fixings.
